Long time no post, and I’m dying to share all the wonderful things that are going on!
After 7 long months, I am back in Prague, reunited with the hubby. I’m here for a little less than two weeks, and figured that I would start blogging again to share my trip with friends and family. 🙂
I went to the airport on Friday evening straight from work – we were delayed by 1.5 hours, but thankfully made it to Munich in time for me to catch my next flight! I had tears before I even landed in Prague. I’ve tried not to think about the distance over the past few months, and I’m so thankful to have had friends and family there for me to keep my mind off it. It was such an amazing feeling to hug the hubby again!! I don’t know if I can go another day without him!
We spent the day at Riegrovy Sady, which is an area somewhat like Central Park, where you can relax, and enjoy views of the city and the castle. There were so many people – couples, friends, people watchers. And it was so cute to see all the dogs running around going crazy in the sun. I love that in Prague, people rarely put their dogs on leashes, and they’re always so well behaved.
After spending a few hours on the hill, catching up on life, future plans and goals, we walked around the park to play with my new lens. It was so much fun just being around each other again – I really missed it!
We walked over to a cute little restaurant called Bruxx, and had two giant bowls of mussels – yum!! Food in Prague is so cheap, we take full advantage and try to eat like Kings. 🙂
Post-dinner at 11pm, we walked over to a little corner spot, and met up with some friends who I just love! I think in any long distance relationship, its important to be able to know someone reliable who lives near your loved one – someone who you know will knock on their door in case your hubby has been asleep for 15 hours and you think they’re dead. Not speaking from experience or anything, really.
It was a beautiful first day back. Today we are just lounging around the house, cooking good food and watching TV!
Tomorrow we are going on a roadtrip through Budapest, Croatia, and Slovenia. I’ll try to post everyday to show you how its going!
Until next time,
