I hope you all had a fabulous Tuesday. 🙂 It’s been a great day so far – the weather is freezing right now, but I feel healthy and happy! I wanted to share a special little package I received from the amazing gals over at Preen.Me. Now, if you know me, you know that I LOVE perfumes. It really sets the tone up for a perfectly clean and crisp morning, or a romantic date at your favorite Italian restaurant in the evening!
My go-to perfume for the past few years has been Chanel’s Mademoiselle. The citrus blended with vanilla notes are simply heavenly and I feel that they interact with my body really well! During the spring time I love misting Gucci Flora before I step out for the day – it makes me feel like I’m in a field full of flowers wearing a white dress and a floral headpiece. ❤
So of course I was THRILLED to receive two new perfumes from the new Clean Reserve collection. I’ve only tried one of them so far – Sueded Oud, and I’m simply in LOVE! A few years ago, I received a sample size of a Clean perfume, which was quickly taken by my mother, who wore it everyday until it ran out. I love the purity of the Clean scents – its really what the company stands for – clean and classic scents that aren’t overpowering, but rather make it seem like its your natural scent.
According to the website: “Sueded Oud is a fresh and creamy approach to a traditional oud fragrance. It is a discovery of natural textures and an exploration of the fluid movement between the brighter and darker facets of fragrance.” Additional notes include incense, blue cypress, birchwood, red pimento, honeysuckle, night blooming jasmine, magnolia, fir balsam, sarcocaulon (a kind of succulent), soft suede, patchouli, black amber, praline, skin musk and olibanum tears.”
What are OLIBANUM TEARS???
I’m not sure, but to me this smells like what Snow White must have smelled like dancing through fields of pink and blue flowers.
This fragrance is available at Sephora for $90!
I’ve received a lot of compliments on this perfume since I’ve been wearing it (am I spraying too much of it?) I love misting perfumes into the nape of my neck and my hair – it seems to last the longest that way.
I’m getting ready now to head to bed. I’m so excited that I’m already halfway through Week 2 of BBG! Everything right now is sore, but its the good kind of sore that gives you the motivation to whip up your salad for the next day LOL. I’m also trying to plan what to do for Valentine’s Day, alone again. Any ideas?
